Clients and potential clients who like communicating this way will quickly become annoyed if their messages are ignored. It’s also very frustrating for followers and clients to see that you are actively posting and engaging on social but not answering messages. But there is an easy fix if you don’t have someone tending to your social media regularly or at all!
Automatic or “instant” replies are available on both platforms and are fairly easy to set up. It’s not the perfect solution, but it beats no response at all and can include a message to call or email the practice directly for the information the sender needs.
