April is National Heartworm Awareness Month. Heartworm is a dangerous, deadly disease that spreads easily from pet to pet with help from mosquitoes. We encourage you to schedule your pet’s annual heartworm screening and restart their heartworm preventative medication this month if you haven’t done so already.
