Optimizing Facebook, Instagram, & TikTok
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there. But that’s what many hospitals do once they set up a business page on social media. In addition to posting relevant content regularly, making sure your page is optimized to best practices standards will increase both visibility and engagement.
Here are a few quick tips to help you make sure your hospital’s business page is doing all it can for you!
- Facebook: Optimize your page’s CTA button. This is the button that appears to the right directly underneath your cover image. It usually defaults to Send A Message, but you can change to Book Now and link to your website or to a reminder platform scheduling page.
- Instagram: Utilize the Contact and Category sections in your hospital bio. Go to Edit Profile, choose Category and search for Veterinarian. You can also choose Contact and enter a phone number or email address that will easily connect users trying to reach you.
- TikTok & Reels: If you haven’t already, now is the time to create a TikTok page. This platform is hugely popular and many veterinary accounts have already made large impacts! Click here to sign up.
