Social Media 360: Creating Content

What if you could spend less time in Content Creation Land and, instead, harness that energy into building a process that gives content a longer life to better serve, inform, and connect with your audience? Here are our best tips to have a constant stream of content ideas, and a plan on where to share them.

Step 1: Create Content Buckets
When considering making a plan for your digital marketing, it can be overwhelming. This is where content buckets come in handy. Consider 5 categories that you could share about. An example might be:

  1. Educational: animal health & prevention
  2. Pet holidays
  3. Your team / insights into your practice
  4. Testimonials & positive patient reviews
  5. Cute patient photos & stories

By streamlining your content into ‘buckets’, you can continually rotate through various types of content.

Step 2: Where to find inspiration?
Look to common search engine results. Start typing in “pet”, “cat” or “dog” into google and pinterest, to see what your audience may be looking for.

Step 3: Market research
Asking your audience what they want to see is a great way to cater your content to the people who are already engaging with you online. Try utilizing IG Stories with a poll sticker, or question box, asking what they want to see!

That’s it! You are off to a great start. Now get out there and create your content plan!
