Posting on national holidays, or social media holidays can be a great way to connect with your audience. All to often, we see this being used as a bit of a crutch, so here are some best practices to consider:

If you do a quick search, nearly every day is some kind of holiday… so keep it simple, and use no more than 1 holiday per week.
KEEP IT RELEVANT
Use a discerning eye, opt for “holidays” that are appropriate for your hospital and your business beliefs.
MAKE SURE YOU SHARE YOURSELVES
People crave human connection. People want to see you, the staff, and the pets you’ve helped. Sprinkle in the holiday posts as an extra, without relying heavily on it.
